Sonobex founder to meet the Queen
Dr Daniel Elford from sonobex is to meet the queen and the duke of edinburgh next week in recognition of his contribution to uk technology. Daniel will attend a reception on june 9th at Buckingham Palace.
A Member of the Institute of Physics and Member of the Institute of Acoustics, Daniel has recently become a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow, Daniel obtained his BSc (Hons) degree in Engineering Physics and his PhD at Loughborough University in 2007 and 2010 respectively.
He joined Loughborough University as an Innovation fellow (EMDA) in Oct 2010 and since has been supported by Commercialisation based grants from EPSRC Follow on Funding and Primary investigator on EPSRC Knowledge Transfer Account and Pathways to Impact.
Daniel has co-authored 9 publications concentrated in the field of acoustics; Co-Chaired and presented his work at many international conferences.
